SHOPPING , SAVING, SUPPORT & SHARE
When you make a purchase of our Tribal owned Products or from our Affiliate
Companies you will save money on many top quality, name brand items. These
purchases help support our events, activities and assistance programs. We share these
with all. Membership is not a requirement.
Since we began these, we have been able to give-a-way food, clothing, household items,
and scholarships. In 2008 we were able to secure an earl
y warning system along the
Tippecanoe river to warn residents of impending dangers. This system will save lives
one day and that makes this priceless. We are working with other communities trying to
help were help is needed, setting a good example for our future generations.
" We help were and when we can ... because there are those who don't
...those who won't ... and those who are unable to"

There are also many in this would that too often can't defend or speak for themselves.
Those who fly, crawl, swim and run the forests. They all need our help and below are also
way you can get involved and help these friends as well.  Today there is a greater push for
people to
"THINK GREEN"  This is more then just an idea it is reality for us and our future.
With forested areas depleted, trees, brush and polluting our rivers and streams ...where
are all of these friends to go?  Imagine a world without them. It is up to all of us to speak
for them when they can't often speak for themselves.
In 2006 we starte
d  "SINIPIONGI" A Canoe-A-Thon for Riley Hospital for Children. This
has raised money for the young who are often stricken with illnesses that change
everyone's life who is involved. The money we raise goes directly to The Riley's Children
Foundation helping the children and their families with the costs associated with long
term care. We are honored that the
Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR) have
been one of our Co-Sponsors since the beginning. They provide us with information which
we circulate to the general public with concern to the animals, lakes rivers and streams
and how you can help and the relationships we all have to one another. Our "Sinipiongi"
Canoe -A-Thon has continued to grow with support from many local Merchants and now
some National Companies and Services. Many people getting involved to make a
difference.
All being done in a good way!
Sinipiongi ~ From the River ~
Help comes from the Rivers and from the Eel Rivers, Friends, Families, and YOU!

Many ask us about our posting
" A Wabash Confederacy" and they often ask "What's that
about?"
It really hasn't any bad undertones related with it.  In the past many Tribal groups living
along the Wabash River and in the Wabash river Valley come together for many reasons.
This Confederacy offered strength in numbers, security and growth. Today we are learning
from our ancestors and the leaders who came before us and are taking these ideals and
developing a group of people with common goals and hope for our future. It is said; "that
many hands make light work"  For one individual to raise money, give to all and help make
the world a better place for all is nearly impossible. But together if we all do a little, BIG
THINGS and Change can happen. This is our idea of a confederacy.
Positive changes starts with one person and grows. Why not you?
There are many ways you can help your communities and we only promise we are trying
to do our part.
If you choose to join us in a small way by making one purchase, participating in one of our
events or activities or make a small donation we welcome you.  If you can not or choose
not to we hope you will find your own way to help those who need it, and the world we live
in. Do it because there are many who don't...many who won't... and by all of us doing just a
little, working together... fewer who are unable.
